What overseas buyers actually search
A buyer in Europe or the Gulf rarely searches for your company name. They search for the product, often with the grade, the form or the trade word: "senna leaves supplier", "wholesale sidr leaves powder". Those are the kind of searches A.R.T's site shows up for today.
Each of those deserves its own page. When two pages compete for the same search, Google often shows neither. That is what had happened to A.R.T's senna pages, and Google fell back to showing the homepage, which earns no clicks for a product search.
Why keyword tools mislead exporters
Keyword tools are built for advertisers, and they report zero for many trade searches that real buyers make every week. For A.R.T, the tool said nobody searched for "senna leaves manufacturer". Search Console showed buyers did, and twelve competitors had pages for it.
So we start from your own data, then Google's own search suggestions, and use keyword tools last, never as the final word.
What every export product page we build has
- The product name buyers type, first. Botanical names and processing codes still matter, so they go in the specifications, not the title.
- Grades and specifications buyers can compare. Set out clearly, because a buyer comparing suppliers checks these before anything else.
- Minimum order, packing and shipping. The questions a buyer would otherwise have to write in to ask.
- A quote in one step. WhatsApp and email on the page, so the buyer asks you, not the next supplier.
Getting named in AI answers too
Buyers now also ask ChatGPT or Google's AI Overview for a list of suppliers. Those answers are built from pages that rank and that say plainly who makes what, where. Writing product pages that answer "who makes this" directly is part of how we build them.
Questions people ask
Do I need a separate page for each country?
Usually not at first. One strong page per product, in clear English, serves buyers in most countries. We add country pages only where your Search Console data shows real demand from that market.
How soon do export enquiries start?
It depends on the product and the competition. For A.R.T, the first overseas enquiry came fifteen days after the new site went live. Our goal for every client: page one on Google and a place in Google's AI Overview for your main searches, within three months.
Do you work with exporters outside Mumbai?
Yes. A.R.T is in Sojat, Rajasthan. We work from Mumbai with businesses across India, and everything happens on WhatsApp, phone and email.
